Engraveable ID Tags

After a long hiatus, we’re pleased to be back with something lovely to tell you about.  Pet Epicure is proud to be a reseller of FURRENZ ID tags for your pet.  Here are some of the latest tags available.

Some of the available designs

These ID tags are engraveable and customisable with charms.  We love the different fonts that they can do and think the quality is amazing.  Sheeri has one already and wears it with pride.  Although all our pets are microchipped, we feel having an ID tag is an excellent way to ensure the return of missing pets as not everyone will think to scan for chips.

Latest Go Cat Toys

The latest batch of Go Cat toys have arrived!  This time, we’ve also brought the Cat Sitter DVD Vol 1. and Vol. 2 and the Dog Sitter DVD.  Our cats love them and we were so pleased until they tried to rip out the laptop buttons in their excitement.

Here are some videos for your amusement.

Hamish McBeth in Malaysia SOON!

We’re proud to announce that we will soon have Hamish McBeth products in our store!  These luxury, hand crafted dog and cat collars are sure to make a statement.  We are especially excited about the Pet Bling- tags for their collars.  Some of these collars feature Czech crytals and the designs are range from quirky to exquisite.  Seriously, this stuff is so wonderful, it’s sold in Harrods.

The value for money webbing collar+leash or harness+leash sets are also really fun.  The prints are so eye catching and oh-so-NOT-tacky, I cannot wait to hitch up the pack and take them for a good hike!

We also have a limited number of grooming sets which we hope will be popular.  We love the fact that they come in their own funky lime green bag.

Feel free to browse through their website.  If there is something you like but we have not ordered in, we’d be pleased get it for you.  This is especially applicalble to owners of tiny or very large dogs.

For the discerning feline

For the discerning feline

We’re not really into clothes for dogs.  This is after all a tropical country.  But the magpie in me calls for nourishment so we compromised by going wild with the collars.  Here are some photos of the collars available at the store.  They are all very affordable and present a great oppurtunity to have a bit of fun with your pet.

And if you think it’s too OTT, check out Beethoven, the little pup looking for a home.  He sports the blue sequins without looking even slightly camp.

Pulau Ketam Dogs

We are at a loss at how people could do this to other living creatures.  We want to do our bit to help so anyone wishing to purchase food to help Furry Friends Farm will enjoy a special 20% discount on the total price of the food.  We will then deliver or have Sabrina collect the food once there is a decent amount.

Pet-Epicure-BannerWe’d also like to applaud Addiction Foods for donating a pallet of food to FFF.  Here’s a company with a conscience!  Bravo.

Below is also a list of people who have contributed food already.  This list will be updated regularly to keep track of those take part.

Ethical Pet Treats from Cage Free Chicken and Duck

As many of you know, I’m a bit of a tree hugger and when we were shown these amazing new cat and dog treats, I was totally wowed!  These dehydrated strips of meat (small pieces for cats and arger pieces for dogs) are not only packed with vitamins and herbs, they are made from cage free meat!

That means the chickens and ducks that were used did not live in cages while they were alive.  This may seem inconsequential, but if you’ve watched Hugh’s Chicken Run or read about intensively reared battery chickens, then you will understand completely why I am so happy to pay a small premium for this.

Here are more links to information on battery farmed chickens.

So, when you’re next considering a treat (or even food) for your beloved pet, please consider the cruelty endured by the very animals killed to provide nutrition for your loved ones.  And ask for CATSWELL or DOGSWELL pet treats.
